The best thing about real flower cars of the late '40s/early '50s is that they were the Cadillac most likely to be a standard shift.
Sorry if this is a hi-jack but, In the original Blues Bros. movie Cab Calloway drives a caddy pickup I think. It was the scene where the orphans are runnin' around promoting the show and passing out flyers, and were jumping in and out of the truck. I always wondered what the hell it was. Does anyone know if it was a flower car? I want one bad! I never knew about them at all.
Hey Gotgas where is "near my house"? I've been wanting a flower car for a while now. I would blow my 88' C1500 w/ stretch cab+long bed out in a N.Y. minute, for one of them for my daily driver
I just saw a real one the other day running down the road. Look to be late 70's early 80's Caddy (looked very clean). Looks like that one might possibly be saved.
