Kustom Kemps of America Salina this weekend

I wish I could be there, Mick, to see you and Krobe and my other friends from B-ville. On the other hand, I will be at a private collection of over 100 cars on Saturday. I will take pics and post 'em here.

 

Any body going for a day trip from the southeast Kansas area, maybe even Wichita? I really want to go but can't justify gas and food as I am picking up most of the body and maybe the front axle for my Modified/RPU project tomorrow. If I could tag along with someone for a day trip that would be COOL. If not, there's always next year and the HAMB drags this year, yep I'll be there for sure.

 

HOLY ****!!!!!!!! all those Texas customs!!!!!!In Kansas!!!!!!!!I would like to take this opportunity to be the first Kansan to welcome you to our modest state. Salina ain't no Austin by any means, so that makes it mean a lot to me that you guys are making the trip up here.........maybe Texas might make a stop by Artist at Large World HQ?........
Toad49, is that you Doug?...... what new customs are coming from Wichita?.....I must be out of the cool guy loop here in my own hometown.......

 

We will stop by on the way in. Have the DP iced for us. Will call from the road. Do we go right thru Koolsville on our way? If the timings right we can cruise up together.

It's a long straight trip from here to Austin. At least you won't have to drive it in RAIN the whole way like Jeff and I did down to the Roundup, 13 hours! LOL!

Reggie- I'll keep my cell on me in case you have any trouble. LOL.


So shall we meet at the Cozy for lunch on Friday at noon? Then slide over to the new retro Dairy Queen a couple blocks away.

If anybody's comin across on 54Hwy from Missouri or eastern Kansas let me know, I'd at least like to see some cool stuff roll by. I live two miles down 105Hwy which branches off 54 to the south about halfway between Yates Center and Eureka.

 

I'm getting a to think that you don't like me because everytime I'm at
a show you kan't go. Ha, ha, ah?? It is sad we just spent one weekend
together and that was 4 or 5 years ago. One of these days our paths will cross again. If you'll allow it.

Just wanted to chime in and say thanks to everyone who attended the show and stopped by the model car contest! This was our first year helping Eldon and Jerry put on the model show and the turn out was awsome!!! (over 100 Cars!) Cannot wait till next year!
