im flying into Ca, for the plesanton Goodguys show in aug. so what else is around to see and do . ive been to la before so im looking alittle more north. what would you reccomend for a motor head do there while on vacation . oh its me and the misses, and no kids if that helps. thanks Doug

Blackhawk museum has lots of cool old cars, not really hot rods, but a good place for anyone that likes old cars. Driving hwy 1 south from Monterey is always a nice drive, hope it is real clear and not fogged in. How long are you out in nor-cal and what specifically do you want to see? The ocean. Salmon fishing outside the Golden Gate and rock fish off the Farallones Islands. You can catch a party boat at the Berkeley Marina or Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. Or you can catch a boat out of Half Moon Bay and go for Bonito and similar.
