    That was great neat pictures and good music... THANKS. Like kustomklaus said I have the urge to take a ride in my car now.

  6. What an awesome thread!Havn.t done half of this stuff but in my head I.m there?How did this era drift away,the whole lifestyle is me,I think they call it boring old fart these days.I know there,s a lot of us would be just as happy if ""progress"" had stopped in the 60.s.

    carlsbad, california, it was about twenty five miles north of san diego, and about five miles from where i am now..... i got shut down about two or three years ago so that they could build an industrial park, sad cause there were a lot of records set there and tons of history, but no one would spend the money t do all the updates required to keep it safe. i have made a few p***es down that track, and it was downright scary in a 12 sec car, cant imagine how the 8 or 9 sec guys felt.
