    Just got a phone call from the test and tune sesion at Tulsa.
    00 Okie Out Law Big flathead just turned 11.96 at 109 MPH.

    Starting to get her tuned up. Way to go Mike...hauling the mail for sure. Can't wait to run with ya! Ron.

    Thanks to both of you. We are very pleased with the new engine and can only pray it will stay together for the rest of the season.

    sat night at TULSA the okie outlaw made 5 runs in the 11s 11.93 best. speed on all runs 109 + best was 109.88 red baron gmc car ran 12.20 /109.98 for second speedmerchants 12.97 hornet 12.40s looks like their stinger has been pulled at least for now. the other cars ran low 13s the engine mix is 3flatheads 1gmc 1 /261 chevy 1 slant six

    What are the spec's on engine? What tranny doa they run? Great times!!!!

    No, these are cars with auto trannies, modern carbs, etc... We need to figure out a way to keep this class from being confused with the traditional stuff...

    And congrats Mr. Mac... That's scootin!

    we went up and watched them and it was pretty exiting to see the little dragsters as the crowd called them run... what ever you call em they are having fun and on the strip and not in the garage....... i like em any way you cut it trad ,modern, whatever, they look the same and the crowds love em, and as for the holley ask the ramrods and they will tell you that the tri power is coming back cause it aint as fast as it was before, go figure.........

    Speed Merchants ran their HA/GR against the Outlaw crowd. I was my time to drive. First run matched Brad's best ET of 12.97 and ran around 105. The second run I jumped the gun big time. It's harder than it looks.
