Duncan (Arkiehotrods) and Dr.Dave from here on the Hamb along with a couple other's were invited by the V8 Fords club of Arkansas to see this amazing collection of cars. It's not open to the public. There were a little over 100 cars there. This is a very little know place call The Old Car Barn. It's litteraly right down the street from my house and I didn't know it until a couple of days ago. It's owned by the Salmon brothers. They were very gracuous and kind to allow us to see their collection of beautifull car's. Here's some pictures and a link to their website.

p.s.-You will notice that in some of the photo's some of the hoods aren't closed all the way....thats because they were so nice that we were allowed to open any hood and get in any car we liked.

I forgot to mention, they only open this to the V8 Club once a year for them and a small amount of guest to view.

The rest of the year these guys are hauling mail for the U.S. Postal Service.

The 32 is having the headlight redone. A lot of the cars have parts missing as they get stuff rechromed, etc.

The black 57 Nomad is factory fuel-injected. The 66 Nova is a 350 horse 327, and the 70 Nova is an L-78 375 horse 396 (actually 402 in 1970 even though they still called it a 396) There is a survivor 57 Pontiac Bonneville, fuel-injected convertible that's white and red, and a 57 Star Chief convertible undergoing restoration that is yellow with green trim.

They're housed in a million-dollar facility! It's got a very tall fence with barb wire around the top, surveillance system, electronic gates, etc.

The Cadillac Phaetons are in the $300,000 range, each. 7 '57 Chevy ragtops and a fuel injected Nomad, that's easily half a million, and that's a tenth of the cars there.

Holly Cow! I drive by that place all the time and often wondered what was in there. Thats nuts! It sits in the middle of run down houses and bunch of crack heads.
