went to e-town,s old time drags a few buddy,s of mine were runing it rain before any good raceing started but here,s a few pictures
we were on our way and the sky was just getting darker and darker, stopped for lunch and to see what the weather was going to do and the sky let loose.
We had plans to go but turned the weather channel on and saw storms on the way. wrenched in the garage all day instead enlarging my un-ashamed "carbon footprint."
It was great to hear Jungle Jim's '70 Camaro FC started up (just minutes before the monsoon hit), especially when the guy hit the gas or nitro I should say.
That is not, and never will be Jungle Jim's car, even though it was p***ed off as the real deal to the current owner. Jungle Pam is a friend of mine and I go by her word on that. But hey, its nice to see another tribute car out there, and its always nice to hear one of those beasts fire up! Spike
