Well this is my 52 pontiac 4 door , it has been my biggest for about the last 2 years..and lifes been competing with my time to work on it as much as i like ...but all i have is time.

.i bought the car and it had about a 3 inch chop on it that was royally screwed up...the guy i bought it from said he had just planned on cutting the top off, but up for a challenge, I bought it with the intention of fixing it since then ive cut it all back apart, took a 2 and 3/4 more out of the front and 3 out of the back, cut out the center post and to make it a hardtop.
latly i've been converting it to a 4 door car to a 2 door car with the help of a couple of 51 pontiac hardtop doors i found at a wrecking yard for 100 bucks.Thats where im at right now...
i plan on keeping the original straight 8 with the hydromatic in it and fabing up a split manifold to route duals out the back...and also making a custom intake to hold dual 2 barrels to feed it for a little extra umph...and i will be notching the frame and bringing the whole car on the downlow with a slight rake to keep the nose up alittle bit
w****d it some 4and1/4 inch 710-15 wide whites and probably some 49-50 pontiac sombreros, color is still undecided
all in all i only have about 800-1000 bucks in the car right now including the price
im trying to build a dream on a poor mans wage's

but enough small talk heres the car...please excuse the multi color...i've had it out side for a while and have been hesitant about striping it all the way down to bare metal until i get it back in the shop....

That looks wicked. Man, I wish I could find a 50's car around here for a decent price and drop one of my newer model drivetrains in it to make a really cool driver to reflect my tastes and personality better, oh well...........keep us updated.

  13. Lotsa work there, looks great so far. Good proportions on the chop too. I have similar plans for my ford sedan.
