I just added some more pics to this album. There are some closeups of the rear brakes I really need some help now. The baker and all hardware attached looks good , the drum ***y looks ok. However the side of the shoes rub on the drum
they are too wide . I have been unable to find ANY info on this setup anywhere on line. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!
The outside of the drum is marked Frankland and the inside 2-69. Please help me out I don't have a clue where to find this info......

Typical 3/4 ton wide 5 brake drums made for oval racing and used for many years by many racers. Of course discs have replaced them in recent years but Frankland is still in business. With all the interest in restoring old racers these days I'm sure you can find what you need. Why don't you give Frankland a call or e-mail I'm sure they can help you out or know of somebody that can. http://www.franklandracing.com/original.htm

Thanks Guys! However the only thing Frankland I believe is the outers. What I have can't be considered a "quickchange" axle. It does not have a center section. Only 2 halves then the full floater outers bolted on. But thanks just the same.

It looks to me like a set of Lincoln back plates that have been skeletonized (if that's a word). What I'm saying is, bulk of the back plate cut away for cooling and weight reduction. The shock holder looks like the end of the rear radius rod from a Model A so maybe the rear is Model AA truck or something. I'm guessing....... how tall are the gears?
