Well I gave up on the krylon whites we had as they just didn't hold up as well as the first set I did a few years ago. So when I got the frontend aligned I had them flip the tires around. Mucho better...now we have that 60's thing going on. I also picked up some blue window tint (anybody know if it is legal in cali to do the drivers and front passenger doors with a blue translucent?)
I was headed to the poorboys show in Sac until the mail came...I bought a pertronix unit for the 6 from a hamber in OK and figured I would throw it on,got it in and started it up and noticed a little fuel leak at the fitting so I tightened it and watched it get worse...split the damn thing! So I run to the hardware staore then the parts store...nada...so I had to rerun the fuel lines to the carbs in rubber. Then noticed the exhaust leak that had developed, and the radiator started leaking and to top it all off the fucking pertronix doesn't seem to work right after about 3000 rpm (guessing at that) get a major misfire aaaaarrggghh. long story short I stayed home and got lubed up on tequila instead.

    I know how you feel.
Some days nothing seems to go right.
Every time I start and finish one task on my pick-up,
    something else goes tits-up?
My buddy seems to have the same problem, so, we started our own club called "two block beaters".
Since, all we ever do is fix something, drive it around the block, then start fixing something else...
It's been about 4 months since I've had my truck anywhere besides the liquor store...
    I'm getting used to it.
