Well that was almost a picture of my car. It was the tan and green Bel Air to the right(in the picture) of that Suburban. Got any full shots? Thanks

  2. Sorry, I don't think I got that one...I had to p*** up a lot of great cars when they were surrounded by people. By the time I made it back, the lighting was too low to get any good shots.

If this show is not on your list, then you will never know what you are missing. Talk about a great crowd......I am used to socal shows (cause i am poor and cant drive all over creation) and this show just had much better quality people. No fights, no bad mojo, it was great! People pay attention when you are taking pictures to stay out of the way and actually apologize when they are standing in the shot. Thanks for the hospitality Bruce, and a great show. Definately worth the trip next year....

I will post pictures later tonight......

Well done guys, show was great. I didn't plan on staying for long, but I was soon blocked in and didn't get out untill late. Met alot of good people. Usually I can only handle a hour or two of a show but this went by fast. And I even see a pic of my car!!

Yeah man, good to finally put a face to the emails and phone calls.
I spent the whole next day welding up my "new" hood in Brian's garage... good thing he has a pool, I forgot how ridiculously hot it is up there!

  7. The best show of the year so far, Poor Boys are great host always make everyone feel welcome. I know Bruce worked his *** off to make this a success (my hat is off to you). Like stated before this was a great crowd just fun, good people no fights, no drama no at***udes. (Even with all the alcohol being consumed) Hotel was a great Venue (just need to bring the vendors and car together more if they let you back) Security was well present. Good thing in my opinion, they all approached dealing with issues in non-conformational manner. Which got a better response to comply from the event patrons. The pin-up contest response was great 22 girls entered a bit to much but we rolled with it and the girls had fun. Yes the hotel blocking people out cause the ballroom only held a 1000 people ****ed. **** I had to argue with security to get in and I was putting on.
Once again Thanks to the POOR BOYS great job. Midnite M*** will be a yearly event for Bombshell-n-ink.

    Cheers

Any one else notice the coupe that looks to be modled after littlemans "deathsdoorstep"? Maybe they're long lost brothers!

  9. Great show guys! Everyone seemed to have a blast. I think this hotel staff handled the crowd alot better than last year. I didn't see any looks of shock or bewilderment on employee's faces all day. Ha!

That's mine, not brother's. I just was very impressed with Littleman's coupe. Only I had to set my motor a little farther forward due to size requirements!!

The ballroom being blocked and only allowing 1,000 people to enter was due to another smaller event taking place. Otherwise they would have rolled back the partictions to make it bigger.

Mark...Thanks to you and Bombshell-N-Ink for hosting the pinup girl contest. I know you worked and promoted your *** off too. Plus it was a long drive to get her.

Although I didn't get out too much I did see a few license plates from Oregon and Nevada. Who else came from long distances?

Sorry I couldnt be there to staff the Billetproof booth, I was up in Washington working on Billetproof NorthWest 2008 :D.

But the report I got from Melissa and the rest of the lovely Billetproof Booth Staff was that the show kicked *** and was packed. Put us on the books for a booth for next year.

you know bruce, you have proved that you could have this show anywhere and it would be incredible. the evening/party concept is brilliant and i must say you do it well.

as far as feedback and kinks goes, i would suggest trying to consolidate things a bit...all the cars in one place, all the vendors in another, and the entertainment in another. the layout at the radison is unique and i often overheard people saying "this place is a maze"!

maybe have the bands and all vendors in the ballroom like last year? oh yeah that's right, 4000-6000 people! different hotel with a multi level garage to consolidate the cars and get us out of the sun?!

good luck and continued success. we had a great time.

I KEEP THREATENING TO COME OVER AND TAKE HIS OLDS IF HE DOESN'T PUT IT IN ANYTHING, BUT HE HAS A BLAST DRIVING THE RANCHERO, I SEE HIM AROUND TOWN ALL THE TIME, I WONDER WHEN HE ACTUALLY WORKS.
