Progress On The Falcon

cool..how much did you go on the wheelwells?...give us some details on the car...motor, trans, etc.....

 

I moved the rear 10 inches and the front 5 inches, I am going with F.E. power 395 c.i. with a four speed. I will be running a chrome moly straight axle on the front with a ford 9 inch in the rear. I would love to run mechanical fuel injection on it if I can come up with an affordable solution, if not I will go with two 4 barrels.

I love the old altered wheel based and gassers. Very cool project.

woolus, we never had that year model falcon, Australia had the X.P model for 65,66 which was based on a mercury comet body.

 

FE Powered, Altered Wheelbase,Straight Front end and a 4 speed . Now who would want a car like that......
