I'm looking for more info on, and more pics of, this Model T. The pic came from the Hot Rod Hayride thread originally I think. I've been staring at this pic for a long time.
That T was definitely at the Hayride , remember seeing it there myself , got no more info though , sorry ...
if you look on this site and go to the trailors page...on the volume2 trailor theres some footage of it http://www.ray-gun-industries.zoomshare.com/ monkey
Thanks guys. I thought it looked like it had a 2.0 or 2.3 Ford in it. I was hoping someone on here owned it or knew the guy that owned it, or maybe had some more pics of it. A part of me REALLY wants to duplicate the car and put an almost totally stock flathead in it with a S10 T5.
That would be awesome!! If the guy was ok with it I would be more than happy to provide my email and talk with him directly.
Thought I'd dig this one up one more time to see if anyone has any info or any other pics of it. Taildraggin' tried to help me out and connect me with the owner (couple times and thanks for trying by the way) but no response from him so far. Looking for any info I can get.
I know him well its Stingers brother Mike.......its been together for yrs now & well abused ;-) it runs a pinto from a cortina, i have pics somewhere....let me find some. Kev. ps; i should see him this weekend or his brother.
These were both taken from the reliability run 4 or 5 yrs ago, the roadside shot is repairing a broken clutch cable. Kev.
Tim , I'll keep an eye out for it at Wheels Day this friday and get some more pic's for ya . Anything in particular you want shots of ?
Thanks. I'm looking for anything I can see. I'm curious about the tire sizes (are hey all the same size or big/little?, 16" wheels?), the rear suspension setup, the frame, the engine and trans. Which with a T is pretty much the entire thing. I'd love an interior shot if possible. This little car really talks to me and I'd like to get as much technical info about it as I can.
Thats funny i forgot about those pics.......can't even remember where we was going! was it the Hayride? Kev.
Sorry Tim , meant to reply sooner ! I looked everywhere a**** the 2000+ cars at Wheels Day but either it wasn't there or it was disguised as a PT Cruiser (Don't ask !!) . Sorry chap , maybe someone more local to the owner could get some snaps ?
OK. Thanks for looking. If anyone see's the car at a show and can snap some pics of it, I would be most appreciative. I wish I could speak with the owner, but it doesn't seem to be in the cards.
Just thought I'd bump this to give me some hope that I might get some more pics and/or info on this car.
try posting on a UK site - http://www.nsra.org.uk/forum/default.asp - there is still only a few guys from over here on the hamb..
Not forgotten you Tim . Couple of bigger events coming up in the next few weeks and I'll waste a memory card on it for you when I find it !!!
Tim , not forgotten you chap ! There's some footage of the T on the new Rad Rods 2 dvd , produced by the HAMB's own Surfmonkey and Paul . Grab a copy here ... http://www.ray-gun-industries.zoomshare.com/ There's loads of other cool stuff from the UK on it too , well worth the money ! Also , I'll be at the Hayride in two weeks and the car is usually there so I'll grab some pic's / info . Cheers , Ratty ;-)
