Here is my old dog...pretty simple as you can see. Just took out some leafs in each corner an PRESTO...
Ebert, was that yer truck at Sycamore on Sun?... My favorite truck there. ...here's one I put together a few years ago...
Rusty1, Yep that was me and the old dog. Thanks for the nice compliment and I dig your ride as well. Love the narrow whites. My sons and I did one like yours (48) a few years ago...we drove the pee out of her and had some great memories working on it. Way kool!!!
This may not be what you are looking for, but this is Pete my loyal old trusty truck. This is one of my all time favorites as well, Mike's old F-1. This thing attracts the darndest stuff
Thanks...But the Black Primer thing has been run into the ground anymore.....Wanna give her a new look..... Spoons
Very nice trucks! This is what I'm starting with. Just getting started on the body work. For the guys with the louvered hoods, did you do it yourself or how was it done? JD
Here ya go...A 52 F1 on an S-10 frame with a 327 Chevy engine. The website below has photos and info on how it was done.
As for my louvered hood - there is a great guy named Jeff up in the Santa Cruz mountains who punched holes in mine. But anybody with a louver press and some skill can do it. Jeff has both of these and excels in them. One thing to consider is taking the braces out of the hood and then welding them back in when you are done. This way you can follow the lines in the hood better Thanks, Tim Here is my hood. I couldn't have been happier after Jeff was done.
