last night got home from traveling for work and got to bang on the shoebox for a bit. finished welding all the inner roof braces and made the door frame. between welding the door frame letting the door cool i shaved the door handes and locks.
Whats even funnier is that noone else but me seems interested either! How do people not take notice of one of the best coupe roofs ever done on here?
I'm watching it,, and i don't think I'm looking foward to doing the fordor. But I think it has to be done. Its lookin real good, can't wait to see the finished product!
Your work looks damn good to me. My favorite car out of the 40's, not far behind, the '46 Chevy. I love both cars. I like watching other people build shoe-boxes just like me.
did some more on the junk box. filled the gas door, filed some trim holes finished the door frames. was a good day
If you aren't to set on having a 4 dr. I've see them move the roof fwd. and put a filler panel in, weld the back doors shut. It is almost like the business coupes of the '40's. I've only seen this at KEMP shows though. It's pretty sick lookin.
