What an honor! Getting to have my art in Ol Skool Rodz! Make sure you go buy it, or better yet- subscribe for it!
That's your work huh? KILLER man! I was paging through it with my girlfriend when I got home last night (just as I do when any mag arrives) and we both commented on how cool it looked. We both agreeded the look on the faces of the girls were funny. Good job and congrats!!
You should post a couple pic's up here........ Some of us just cant bring themselves to Buy that rag Ol Stool Rodz..
I'll buy it just cause your art's in there, but NO CHANCE of subscribing! I usually browse through and look for HAMBers cars.
I ran over to 7-11 to check it out...*****in work but now my hands have a rash on them from that **** mag. Congrats...maybe someone on here can help you get in a mag thats alittle cl***ier.
Congrats on getting your artwork in a publication but most Hambers on here use that particular magazine for toilet paper!
well im pretty sure I'll see it when it gets to these parts, congrats on getting in the magazine, and for all those people trashing Ol Skool rodz, when you work on the railroad and literally have nothing to do for 8 hours, but stare out a window and try not to fall asleep, it can be a lifesaver or sanitysaver, espescially after you've already read that new Rod and Kulture magazine 10 times over, in 2-3 trips (thats 8 hours both ways) now after I vouched for it, I have to redeem myself it is still a pretty cliche magazine, and im kind of getting tired of the bo huff stuff, he gets a little to gimmicky, I think ive seen enough skulls in the last year of my life to last a lifetime, some people would think this magazine is about new age rockabilly pirates or something, atleast R&K idolizes a cl***y builder like OZ, no gimmicks there, gimmicks make a car/bike look cheap. anyways good luck with the art!
Congrats man! Great work. OSR & others like it may not be an ideal mag, but gimmie a friggin' break! It is the closest "mainstream" mag there is that shows cars like these. It is almost like you are kicking them for being like "Teen" or something. It is freaking OLD CARS!! And most of them our style! I can see *****ing about Hot Rod and the others, they are trendy and cater to the advertisers (ALOT), but OSR is the closest thing that you can get at the local Kroger to even remotely resemble what is on here. Oh, and congrats to the ones that have had thier cars in that (or any for that matter) mag. Just be carefull who you tell, you may be blackballed for it being in such a ****py mag! Jeesh!!! Rant off. LOL!
CONGRATULATIONS MAN!...... even though your work is a little weird he he he..... I see your still not sure where you live yet
Realizing it makes me a terrible human, I just copied your "death dealer" for my 'pooters wallpaper. You sir, are a twisted *******. My kinda guy.
I agree. While there is a lot of garbage in there, the majority of the cars are in decent taste... I guess a big reason why I like OSR is because I'm 23 and the nicer cars show what you can do on a limited budget. Besides what other choices for customs do I have at you average news stand? Rod & Custom(which I subscribe to) and Street Rodder(a few decent customs). I need more than one mag a month!
Hmm, maybe my car in OSR is cl***ing it up a bit? Hahaha. Just kidding. Thanks nummnuts! It's popped up in TRK and Rolls and Pleats in event coverage. I wanted it featured in TRK, but OSR shot it in April 06. And then TRK wouldn't shoot it after that.
I checked out your website, unbelievable artwork. I might need you to design some t-shirts for me, if I can afford you. Nice work.
