Looks strange. Like an old man with a fedora, cl***y. Now do a burnout with it so you can have your avatar switch back and forth with the top up, top down so we know it's still the same hot rod the lady is cruisin!

Looks good, Denise. I'm shure Steve is looking down with a big grin on his face knowing his car could not be in better hands. See ya' in Joplin.

    awesome -

Am I the only one that can’t see pictures this morning? It really goes to show you that patience and hard work will pay off with a kick *** car. You have really pulled off some impressive hard work with that car. Keep it up – Fat Luck’y interior? Wooh **** – that is going to be FAT!

  12. Looks a bit weird to see Big Olds with a top, I can only imagine what it's like for you.

Glad you're happy, can't wait to see it in person.

    Cheers

If it rained in the morning, I called in sick.

By the bye, did you get your window mechanisms in? See you on the salt.

If you ever get any sun up der in da nort' - da top might shrink up a bit and the fit-n-finnish will git a lil nicer....

Hell - am I da only one dat lykes dis look. It sure is snazzy. Startin' to look lyke a period piece now.

Sorry - I'm trying ta translate to GMB - I'm not fluent.

65k w/out a top - what happens when you can drive in all the elements without the negative effects?!? Zoinks...I doubt that I've put 65k on my modern daily commuter in the last five years!

Sweet! I like it..comprimise? i dont see it! looks good..BTW no car is perfect! we are supposed to drive them and thats what you do with yours..when it flys by me at 70+ i will never see any of the imperfections you say are there. Besides , all of us guy and gals know, and see the imperfections in our cars because we are intamate with our customs. The fact that it is a convertable..and that you like it top down..you will be driving it that way 90% or more that way..unless its raining or cold as hell..so IMHO its sharp, sweet, cool, and useful. Glad to see you have made this step in your rides customization. Go have fun with it!

Looks good Babe! You look pretty hot handling that router. What is it about cute girls and power tools?

Anyway - the white top really sets off the whitewalls, and looks great against the purple. That car is ALL YOU - call it Steve's if you must, but if you ask me (or just about anyone else who knows ya), Big Olds is now (and will always be) Denise's car...no question.

    Love ya!

I remember reading long ago that in the days of real cloth, the last step on the Packard ***embly line was running a steam line into the car's interior and filling the whole car up with live steam tapped from the factory boiler... took out the wrinkles and tightened everything up. Might a blast of steam do something on those edges??
What is you actual mechanism from there?? I kinda think I remember that car in a tech article involving modified 1970 or so GM bows in the old days of Rodder's Digest. Bruce
