Disclaimer....this is not about the show, i am expressing no opinion of it at all and I don't wwant anyone else to either...so I'm hoping this doesn't get locked...

But WHO was that Sarah girl's dad?? The 3w he had stashed was cool.....then the Speed Sport Special lookalike old drag car made my jaw drop.....then the belly tanker?????

Those were some amazing looking cars, and I have never seen them before. Does anyone have any more information on them?

It was surprising to see that bundle of cars at her house. She has several interesting pieces and that 3 window seemed to have some extra meaning for her. Hopefully she'll be able to enjoy driving it one day.

My jaw hit the floor when I saw those cars, especially the old drag car and bellytank. The 3 window must really mean somethin, and I would hope that Pete will help her out with it or something.

No kidding this show was the best so far. Those cars at her dad's place is kewl and gives me a lot more respect for her love for racing and stuff. Would have been easy to unlaod those.

This was the first time I watched the show and when they went into that barn full of goodies I wondered the same thing. Who? and On the HAMB?:)

There looked like a bunch of very cool stuff in those buildings. Her dad must have been one cool guy.

That was the highlight of the show. I'd like more info on the 26-27 Drag Roadster.

Yeah, that seems to be the going thing these days, steal someone elses stuff because its too easy and you dont have to build your own.. You noticed they didnt say "Up here in California at so and so place at the intersection of...." At least they had that kind of smarts.. I have definately seen things on TV that you are like"WTF..." after they tell the nation where a location is...

Was a good show this time around... I thought anyway..

quick question (and off topic a little); was the guy from Hard Shine (sorry, can't remember his name) at the Sachse party a couple of weeks ago? I'm just curious because I seem to recall seeing a dude that looked like him (with a SoCal t-shirt on), but I'm wondering if my mind is playing tricks on me.

    Back to regular programming.....

I'd be interested to know who Papa was/is. I didn't think much of her until they showed the cars...I absolutely love em. The show has taken a turn for the best in my opinion, even though I was pissed about the comments about Littleman however, he seems to be taking it well. But, those cars rule! I do hope she keeps them cuz they're museum pieces.

I like her...just because she seems to try so hard even though the deck she's being dealt from is so obviously stacked.

Funny how her efforts seem to work a little better around Pete than Jimmy. Pete has the knack for teaching.
Just that tiny little pinch of encouragement now and then can make or break the student.
Jimmy's always on edge. I think he needs to hop off the COOL bus and look for the fun in his work!
I hope that gnome ******** with Littleman doesn't go on right thru the entire run...

Oh yeah...the barn cars are wicked! I'm surprised someone here doesn't know exactly who her Dad was!
He must have had the car sickness bad!
Pete told her not to polish or repair anything on those cars...just wash and preserve them as they are.

I'm liking Pete more and more. Thought he was a sell out to tell the truth...but now I don't feel that way at all just seeing him in action.
He's cooler than the Shinester in my book...no posturing, just a love for what he does without the drama.
The guy wore a dress on TV and didn't look like an idiot for doing it...
Not many can pull that off! ;) :D

In the first show, she said her dad was a race car driver. They even showed some pics I believe during the section where they introduced the players. They already knew about the cars before the first show was done being edited and shown on TV. I think it's pretty cool how that was kept under wraps until this episode aired. Girl has some cool ****, hopefully she keeps them and no one talks her out of them.

I agree with the above except i think Pete did look like an idiot in a dress.
Maybe some stilettos would have helped.
I enjoyed all in the show except the obligatory drama.

I think Ryan has made a mistake locking down discussions of rod shows. Turns out this one is the best of the lot and we can't discuss it?

When I see the So-Cal roadster with the period paint scheme, I get all warm and fuzzy.

Have Pete take over the show, because he doesn't try to be Mr. Cool, just a regular guy.

Barn scene was a show stopper and I will be watching to see where this goes.

I heard that her Dad had a wrecking yard somewhere in Sacramento area. She worked at Sacramento Vintage Ford for a while. Boy, her Dad's car collection unreal. Bet she has a lot of new boyfriends now.
Never good to lose someone like a Father. But, his spirit will live on when she ever gets that '32 on the road.
Off subject, but was cool seeing Billy Gibbons pin stripe talents.

I watched the show and had the same reaction seeing her Dad's garage. Cool stuff. Sure looked like the roadster threw the drag race though.

Amen to that! Almost like he darn near locked up the brakes 50 feet from the finish. I guess its better for business if the customer's newly finished car wins the race... I DO love the show, no its not perfect, but remember the days when there were no car programs on at all? Now you can tune in on a thursday night and see a g***er 57 and the So Cal deuce highboy go at it, and see a few of "our own" on TV building hot rods... Even with its flaws, thats pretty cool if you ask me.

Do you really think Pete took her home just to help her or just to see the cars? Wanna bet one or more of them become his?
