World's Longest Yardsale

    It’s time again for the World’s Longest Yard Sale here in Crossville, TN. The yard sale runs 630 miles covering 5 different states. Some years you get some good stuff and sometimes there is nothing but junk. I drove up Hwy. 127 North, looks like there might be some good projects this year. It starts August 2 – 5. Here are some pictures of what I found.

    I drug up this old post...

    Just got done with three days during this yard sale deal... lots of project cars along side the road. I started in Chattanoga on Thursday morning and finally quit just north of Frakfort, KY about 3 pm today (Saturday)...

    Along the way I bought a nice TIP sandblaster, a '49 plymoth bumper, a few other small tools and stuff... and a '50 Pontiac 2 dr hardtop! Now THAT was something I wasn't looking for but it must have been looking for me!

    yep...saw at least 4 or 5 early 40's GM trucks and several bikes... bought the Plymouth bumper from a guy who had one GMC fender mounted headlight... he was in Frankfort, KY...
