Looks great now. Would be perfect lowered, but it's a great truck.

That´s a beautiful truck! It looks perfect now. If you want try a dropped I-beam ,you can always go back if you don´t like it.

I'd try reversing the main leaf(s),
maybe removing some of them as well.
it'll easily drop it almost 2 inches.
Also it'll only cost you 30 bucks in new shackles.

If you leave it like it is,
send pics to the movie reps to rent as a prop. big money!

I'll join the others who suggest a little rake with big and littles. It's not anything that couldnt be redone.

Yeah, don't take that route... Otherwise sweet truck, looks good now & would look even better a little lower (nose down).

I think she is just beautiful
(always tell that to them, then add - "but if ya think you'd like to change a little, well, that'd be okay too hunny")

...oh, we were talking about your truck weren't we?

Do you have other hot rods? If so, what's wrong with keeping the truck at stock height?

Just a wee bit lower in the back and that much and a "little" more in the front. If your even the least bit clever you can accomplich both for labor,no money. Other than that drive it.

    You should lower it.

    About 1600 miles. To Austin.

Then I'll take it off your hands. Problem solved:)

YES LOWER IT! - thats a k0000000l truck!
add F-1 shock mounts & tube shocks also. -- get a couple old used yellow fog lights for it and a grill guard and any other old easy to come by goodies to bolt on.

  22. Duh! of course. Rags

  23. YES! Lower it. 2 inches in back, 4 inches in front is easy with lowering blocks and a dropped axle. If you don't like it you can switch it back easily enough but I get the feeling you'll like it dropped a touch.

Lower is always better I think. That truck is a beauty!

  26. Stock height ****s, lowered with a slight rake would be dynamite. The right wheels, tires and stance will make or break any ride.

    Joel

p.s. That is a really nice truck....

  27. Totally stock except a tiny forward rake.

X2, that'd be perfect. Give it a hint of "the look", keep em guessing.
