I just want honest opinions on my 38 Ford She sits a little high but she is all stock. Should I lower it somewhat thanks Jeff My other truck is lowered
umm,,,sweet! would look killer though with a BIG n LIL rake and lowered a lil bit (with blackwalls of course!)
Uh, is this still the HAMB, or have I entered "The Twilight Zone", WTF? Keep it looking old timey', but I say bigs and littles with a little less al***ude, perfect early era hot rod truck. JMHO Drew
That´s a beautiful truck! It looks perfect now. If you want try a dropped I-beam ,you can always go back if you don´t like it. Chris
I'd try reversing the main leaf(s), maybe removing some of them as well. it'll easily drop it almost 2 inches. Also it'll only cost you 30 bucks in new shackles. TP If you leave it like it is, send pics to the movie reps to rent as a prop. big money!
I'll join the others who suggest a little rake with big and littles. It's not anything that couldnt be redone.
Yeah, don't take that route... Otherwise sweet truck, looks good now & would look even better a little lower (nose down).
I think she is just beautiful (always tell that to them, then add - "but if ya think you'd like to change a little, well, that'd be okay too hunny") ...oh, we were talking about your truck weren't we?
Just a wee bit lower in the back and that much and a "little" more in the front. If your even the least bit clever you can accomplich both for labor,no money. Other than that drive it. Frank
YES LOWER IT! - thats a k0000000l truck! add F-1 shock mounts & tube shocks also. -- get a couple old used yellow fog lights for it and a grill guard and any other old easy to come by goodies to bolt on.
YES! Lower it. 2 inches in back, 4 inches in front is easy with lowering blocks and a dropped axle. If you don't like it you can switch it back easily enough but I get the feeling you'll like it dropped a touch.
Stock height ****s, lowered with a slight rake would be dynamite. The right wheels, tires and stance will make or break any ride. Joel p.s. That is a really nice truck....
