I need two pair, '64 Galaxie rears and '57 Lincoln rears. Anyone know of the best place to get them? I hear there is a place in MI called JR Spring. I can't find their website or contact info. Eaton Detroit Spring wants $429 a pair for the Galaxie and $524 for the Lincoln. That seems about $100 or more a pair high doesn't it? Or are they somewhat higher quality then let's say ordering from JC Whitney?

Check with your local truck & heavy equipment shop, they will be able to do them cheaper

Eaton Detroit Spring makes good stuff, and the way you want it. They have the specs. for thousands of cars and trucks, will make lowered springs or whatever you want, and they come with the rubber bushings. Price might be a little higher but you get what you pay for. I bought a pair from them a few years ago, and they fit right, were prompt and easy to deal with.

I second St. louis spring had them do a set for a chevy II a few years back they were dirt cheap and on my door step 2 days later. Your galaxy should be a common spring for them. pool.

Definitely Eaton. They can even build springs with just the amount of drop you want because they have all the factory specs. Good folks too.

Dearborn is just buying them from somewhere else and marking them up top dollar. $280 per side = $560/pr. Top quality Eatons are $429/pr. I think I will try St. Louis spring...after I try the local guys at Accurate first.
