Me and fellow Chupacabra (***** Reirson) have been kiddin around about swappin cars for some time now and as of last night the kiddin was over. I traded my shoebox for his 23 T and man I am really stoked!! This thing is a blast! Anyone who drives a roadster can testify. Theres somthin about lookin down at an open engine and front wheels that makes you understand the meaning of the word HotRod! Im thinkin about maybe doin a kinda Norm Grabowski treatment to it later on but for now Im just grinnin like a **** eatin dog and pickin bugs out of my teeth!! [IMG]

Your old car must have been somrthing else if you traded for that T. Is it a gl*** body or steel. Doesn't matter, just curious. It's got that old time early drag race look to it, VEEEEEEEERY cool.

Wow, Your shoe box was a killer. One of my faves.

Looks like the hot rod bug bit ya good though.
I can dig it. I love customs but I LOVE hot rods!

To me it's the differance of standing back and saying ahhh...
or hitting the gas and yelling OH ****!!!!!

I like to yell oh ****.

That T is a well built rig, and if your smiling you did the right thing.

Krupa, Its definitly an "OH ****" ride! [IMG] I was drivin back to Fort Worth from Cleburn after we made the swap and I think I was hoopin and howlerin most of the drive home. Called ***** this mornin to tell him how much I dug it but his Dad said he was out washin his "new" car. [IMG]

  13. The first time I fired up my roadster I was hooked!!!

I sold 2 murdersickles, 29 A P/U, and my 56 Chev 2 door post..., and I didn't miss a single one of those vehicles until I got caught in a "Gully Washer" of a storm!!! [IMG]

I used to flip a coin on a sunny day to see if I drive the bikes or the rods..., and with the roadster I had the best of both worlds! [IMG]

Both nice cars. Dig the copper and green flames. Were you inspired by the one in The Rodders Journal with the awesome flame throwers? Sweet car as well.

Yea Buzzard, it was a big trade but we had talked about it for some time and we were both ready for a change so what better way to do it by keepin it within the club. Man I cant wait for the Drags. Hopefully It will be sportin a new look by then. Hey Loburban, I really dug Steve Sellers car that was in Rodders Journal but it wasnt meant to look so much like his. I had wanted those colors for a long time with the Watson style seaweed flames long before I ever saw Steves car.

I agree! Your shoebox was an awesome ride, but I'm happy you get to immediately have fun with another car.

That T sure looks like one hell of a fun ride!

WOW, I can't believe you traded that Shoebox for the T!

The important thing is that you are happy, but I have to be honest and say that Shoebox was one fantastic car.
