So I cruised down to Monmouth, Il yesterday for their annual carshow in the streets. Very cool and tons of cars, lots of Yenko, Copo, **** Harrell cars as well. Saw this though and it caught my eye. Anyone know if this is produced somewhere? Hillborne on an LS1? Maybe its a custom fab deal...

it is an injectoin system made either by imagine injection in Phx, or a new guy who has coppied Imagine's design. I think this is the second, looks like a car built at Pinkies, and they deal with the second guy. The injectors are paterned off a webber body design as a throttle body. We have been working on three cars with the Imagine injection systems at our shop. Here is one being ***embled. You can see where the throttle bodies bolt to the adapter manifolds.

Yeah, I think you're thinking about Momar Inj. They are the ones that did Pinkees, I do believe.

  5. I wonder how they ditched the ugly coil packs on top of the heads? That motor would be cool if the parts were castings instead of CNC.

I'm thinking the polished valve covers are actually polished coil covers.
They're big enough to hide it all.

the coils can be eliminated by switching to an aftermarket computer, motec, haltec, electromotive, etc. and running a remote coil pack. our car runs a coil pack under the dash, and the plug wires exit through the firewall.

Precisely. And like the one above, your's is another example of just how gorgeous the rather boring looking (in stock form) LS engines can look. These engines are amazing. I want one to play with one of these days.

That looks like some of Imagines work. Bob Ream is a very good guy, and his stuff works great. The Momar deal is a copy and I drove myself nuts trying to make one of theirs run on a 5.7 Hemi, total junk if you ask me.

Now that ****erfly injection is just dead ***y!

  19. Wow!

That ****erfly Inlet intake is *****en!

The "Hilborne" one is ugle though...

I think the HIllborne is awesome, I walked past it at first and thought it was just an old GM motor in the car. Turns out to be a monster. FYI that Harropp is almost $4000 if i remember right.

For a TECHie-ish kinda car, I think the vintage stuff you all mixed in looks good. I'm asking Joe if'n I can do a burnout with it.

    I like the stacks.
