Looks like the meet was a little slim at 12pm on Sat... The BBQ trailer and tent was now moved closer to the front of the hall this year. Thanks to Frank and rest for the grub .. the OLD FOLKS BRAT'S rule.

Damn right it was.... wow. Thing about Louisville that kills me is the majority of it's on blacktop. But that HUGE vendor area is a good place to duck in and cool off.

I didn't get down there till a little later. Felt like hell, but by God, I wanted to take pictures and get ideas, so sinuses be damned, I went anyway.

Sorry I didn't run into y'all... I was trying in vain to see as much as I could before I had to throw in the towel and head back home.

Maybe I'll be ready to roll for the Goodguys Chicago show and catch some of you there?

It was crazy hot!! I was only there (down and back) on Thursday w/ a non-HAMBer {I don't get it...!}... saw the BBQ trailer but was riding on the "tractor-trailer" so couldn't stop by. Always outragious weather but it's the NATS. At least on Thursday, the crowd seemed smaller than usual and not quite so many high-end bling cars - maybe we're getting back to our roots a bit...

Drove my 36 coupe from Texas to the NATS with a friend who just got his 34 back on the road....first time since 1952. Would not have taken near as long to fix if the old farmer hadn't cut it in half and made a manure spreader out of it! Food was good at the meet and greet too. Got to visit with a bunch of HAMBERS. Saw 3window Larry and his car, the Kennedys and their A coupe, Bob K, Dennis OBrian, and a lot more.....just can't remember all their names. Really enjoyed it.

  7. Thanks for the pics Al. Nice meeting you guys - maybe we'd have more people at the meet and greet if we had in inside:) I'm still on the road - didn't get out of the building untill 6 PM Sumday and this afternoon I upgraded my rear tires to LT's after one of mine developed a split personality.
