How the hell did you beat Clark to those, he generally is the one to find and get all of the cool shit.

    Oneoldrat,

 Any more barns down your street? I live in Central California and havn't heard of a barn find in years. I guess the right coast has all the old barns now days.

I guess there is an old law in PA that says you are not allowed to sell your car and you must store it away in one of the 10,000 barns in the state..

My woodie was a PA barn ride..

That Olds may have been in a barn but it has not been in there very long. Paint doesn't look original, stainless and chrome look real nice, and the air cleaners are new items. Too bad it didn't have the original J2 air cleaner with it cause they are getting rare and expensive. Still I wouldn't mine having it, it would look really nice in my garage sitting next to my two tone purple 57 Olds J2. It would like some company I'm sure.:D :D

That Olds is one set of sombrero hubcaps away from perfect. Maybe paint the roof and body above the trim cream.

That 57 Olds is my favorite 50's car. I still say it has the prettiest dash ever made for a car. I know where a 2-door sedan is with the 3 deuces ...just waiting till the wife stops spending so I can go get it!

People around here save everything. I don't know how many sale I been to were people save everything there whole life then die and never sold it or use it. Even old newspapers and junk that no one would ever use.

There was a sale about three years ago that took three days. Most of the stuff was old cars and trucks about 15 of them A large barn full of parts and mechining item. The cars and part were hard to get because they were bidding them way up. There was a 1929 REO panel truck that needed total res. that went for over $9000.00. A 1946 Harley that was all apart with no Trans or oil tank that went for $5500.00

I did pick up a lathe that has a 10" head with a 6 foot bed that need a motor for $12.00 and a large stack of old gasket sets four $5.00 and 3 1935-1936 Ford pickup doors for $1.00 each. and bounch of other stuff. I end up filling my Ford ranger, F150 pickup and my freinds flat bed. Now all of this stuff is in my barn. But I am selling this stuff. I paid about 1500 for every thing

I do not know how many car are setting in old barns and garages in my area and the owners will not sell them. right now I know were there is a 1932 Pontiac, 1936 Ford Conv. Two 1935 Ford pickups and a couple of international pickups. But they will not sell. Some even say they would shoot you if they see you on there property again.
