Ahhhhh, been a long while since I have posted, When ya have a******** bar in the shop T&A is distracting well the Princess is at the interior shop getting stiched up, I snap'd off a few pics for you guys to see before it left, back to her original glory! My last customer job also (except for Indian Larry's shop) for a long long while, Gonna spend time on my own stuff for a while. The Roth "Outlaw" clone and a twin carb Knuckle head chopper I have been piecing together! FRITZ
It would be better if it gets a frog wen ya kiss it. I´m sorry to say that, but in my opinion this is the uglyest P.O.S. I ever saw.
Why couldn't you & Moriarity have been my neighbors?? Got a couple of fun things (fotos) to add to your post later, hope you enjoy them....DP-related... Ace
Garish showpiece - YES But also a very significant piece of show car history. You guys need to show a little more respect. Rich
looks great. that's one of my favorites, i love the picture of it with roth dancing around it in a tiara with a fairy wand. classic roth. can't wait too see it in person
fantastic.. I always try to look at cars like this through the eyes of my kids.. they haven't been corrupted and don't yet have the cynicism that the world puts into you. They'd say COOL!
Great job Fritz. Back to it's original glory. Love them crazy Roth cars. I can see how some t & a could be a bit ofa hinderance. Also love to here more on that dual carb Knuck. What carbs you using? Amals?
Hey If ya don't like it thats cool man! kinda makes you the single guy at a********s party though, LOL!!!!!!!! I seem to remember Cole saying he didn't like show rods cause they don't run & drive, I still like him though LOL, and the Princess does run and drive but I bet he still don't dig it, HAHA I could not live next to Moriarity we'd hate each other after awhile he stays in the garage doing body work and gave up drinking and I don't think I could live with out my Margaritas & lap dances !! Pimp Daddy Fritz!
NATE, True , true...My wife and I don't have kids, But I so get a kick out of chatting with them at car shows, The Parents are usually a$$holes & their kids see things as crisp & new! they love that old goofy show rod stuff. There isnt a trophy big enough to replace the smile & look on a little kids face when they see the "Roswell Rod" or "batmobile" etc.... Monger, I've been building a knuckle the old fashion way, got a 1940 right case a 1971 left case so on and so on......you know the drill, bought a set of heads that were set up for twin linkerts, a good score in my book. I picked up a set of M35's for it should run nice but Id like to do a bunch of shows first. kinda slipping back into the M/C thing. havent played with then since my days at Iron Horse FRITZ
hahaha, crazy cool! i wouldn't have appreciated this a while back.....i didn't grow up in this era and really haven't been into hot rodding very long......however, to curb my ignorance, i bought the roth book and now i have a strong appreciation of these show rods...... thanks for taking time to share this with us, here!
By far my favoritist Roth car ever built. Good to see it brought back by somebody who 'gets' showrods, and those Blue Streaks rule! Why can't they re-pop those?
I saw the east coast copy/version of this car at the Wheels of Time Jamboree. I can't wait to see the real deal. Will this one be available for public viewing or is it part of someones private collection, rarely to be seen!!!!
I think people should be able to freely say what you think about a car, good or bad. It gives me wood. I love it. Now, where are all the old show trikes?
Awesome, back to glory. You wanna sell me the BF Goodrich TAs that came off of her? Just kidding. Are we ever gonna get a chance to see it in person? Can't wait to see the knuck, it'll be******in' fer sure. Love yer new sig too. Be good.
Nads is forever my Gay prison******! Hemi, they re-pop these tires, they aint cheep though......... Big Olds, The princess will be part of the "American Car collection" in NV. a new museum that should open sometime in 2008
FRITZ, as we were drinkin and chasein women at HRAR, I thought it only fitting to wear one of your shirts. Check FEDERs post, there is a pic. Ya, I like the car....Real talent!.............OLDBEET
This is for Nads!!! ever see pass - don't pass or yes - no on the back of a big truck? this is what I had my Buddie Shane syx from Dayton Ohio do for me on the back of my suburban at the rock-n-rods show in Ill.
