I just got the picture from Tom Fritz of a cool painting he did with my coupe. The setting is Rolling though the Desert with a 57 chevy police car behind me with the lights on. The photo of it doesn't do it justice. He does some sweet work www.fritzart.com
Sorry I can't post a better pic of it. But you get the idea of it.. The colors are really cool when you see it.
That is super cool...I am afraid to ask what that set ya back. I am looking for art for the new office. That is cool!!!
I didn't buy it or have it done for myself. He owns the original and he will start making prints of it. He wanted to do a painting with my car. We started putting ideas together.. We came up with this idea.. He wanted it to be different from the rest of the police paintings. He is really into the details of the car. . like how the light comes through the ribs of the tires I'm really excited about it
Tom's stuff is the bomb! That's so cool, and your rod too.KK What's so bitchen about his process is that he paints on Wet & Dry 600 grit sand paper, instead of canvass.KK
Man that is awesome. I like the way he uses the sunset etc and lighting to make the motion exaggerated......I love his work.
SAVAGE, that is the best Hot Rod painting I have ever seen. I'd like to get a print of that when they're available. Mutt
Yea Tom is a really cool guy. I've been saving up to buy a couple of his prints. He has some killer stuff finished that is not even for sale yet.
Tom's work is amazing. I love the cop's headlights lighting up the cab in the coupe, and the light shining through the drilled axle.
Awesome. Tom Fritz really is a genius. I definitely want to own some of his work when I grow up. Cool car too SAVAGE.
One of a very few Hot Rod Fine Artists. Kills me the way he uses the effects of light and atmospheric conditions (dust, dirt, mist) to drive a theme home. He knows color as well. Wudda Guy
He actually wanted to use rickys coupe in it. But he figured he would be retired by the time Rickys car is on the road..
