Welcome aboard Jeff. Next time you talk to Tim Fedewa, see if he remembers the time he ran our 64 Galaxie out at Spartan Speedway. They had a father and son race and he borrowed it to run against his dad. The old ford was a serious step down from what he was used to driving, but he kept it up front for most of the race. WOW 2 years and 7 months,, since I have checked my intro ,, a LOT of new messages on here ,,, Thanks to everyone that welcomed me .. sure was nice of ya . Story on my g***er ,, got it kind of put together last oct, 2006, actually we were working on it when it was loaded on the trailer, to go to Canada ,, didnt have a chance to check anything out on it ,, never been out of the parking lot . Made the trip , unloaded , almost p***ed inspection ,,but let me run anyway . the brakes were almost to the floor ,, so wasnt sure if it would stop on the big end . Lined up against the guy that I went to race . and believe it or not,, my *** { or car }did back up my big mouth , lol .. It was all in fun ,, had a freat time ,, now it back in the garage getting those little things fixed ,, hoping to make it back again this year . JEFF
Charlie ,, nope it isnt the car you were thinking of .. I bought this one sitting beside a barn ,, no floors at all, painted HEAVY metal flake yellow , and rambler fender flares grafted into the rear quarters . had a stock 55 rear in it . also a large moon roof .. ugly .. it now has a 9 inch narrowed just a bit, with 4 bar .. 327 auto, gl*** doors, trunk lid and front end . plastic windows every where, except windshield ,, car weighs in at 2778 . I like that .. with the cam in the 327 and open fenderwell"s ,, it sounds really nasty .. so the wife named it ,, " PLAIN NASTY " , you should have seen the guys getting their ladies to stand beside it,, and taking their pics .. something about the name and the lady standing there ,, lol ..
