I don't think a car could get much better. Well deserved.

    Congradulations.

  9. Right on. I've had the pix of the car without doors on my computer for awhile, but didn't know who's car it was.

    That's got a Y block, right?

At any rate, it is a most awesome rod.

  10. Kennedy's coupe was shot for TRJ at the Nats South this year.

I was amazed at the care & effort Steve Coonan put into the shoot. The man laid in a wet gravel parking lot, in the rain, more than a few times, just to get the right shot. I felt lucky just to get to see a TRJ photo shoot happen... then I got to drive the "chase car" for the driving shots.

Kennedy isn't one to pull his own chain so he hasn't mentioned the feature here. He also got a Street Rodder Top 10 pick at Goodguys Nashville that he hasn't mentioned. I know that he is really proud of the car. He poured his heart & soul into that A coupe - & it shows.

Young Kennedy & Kennedy's Hot Rod Shop have a bright future.

Thanks for the compliments. I've tried to keep my mouth shut for the past few months because I didn't want to sound like I was geeting the big head, and that has been real hard. Rodders Digest also shot while I was at the Nats South this year to It is suppost to come out soon.
I just got home from the NATs and I am wore out it was nice meeting all you guys who I talked to. After all this I'm fired up and ready to build another car.

This car is perfect. I was lucky enough to get a ride in it. While my model A is gonna be more of a 60's style im aiming for a car as well thought out, built, and finished as nicely as kennedy's. Hes my new hero. haha

Big Congrats on getting in TRJ! I went to buy a copy today, but the only copies I could find were all banged up. I'll have to go hunting again tomorrow for a good copy.

I find it amazing that someone so young can build a car that will bring a tear to an old fart's eye. Well done, doesn't even begin to cover it. You've got a real future ahead of you.

Issue #37 (purple '53 Buick on the front cover) is out now at my local Barnes & Noble and the Kennedy coupe was in there. I just need to find a copy that isn't mangled.

Very deserving accolades for both the car and the guy behind the wheel. I took quite a few pics of the car over the course of the weekend.

While walking throught the building Friday wearing my HAMB shirt I was stopped by a guy who says "nice shirt" turns out it was Kennedy. Thanks for saying hi and giving me the oportunity of complimenting your car in person.
