A few weeks ago, I cruised down the street (literally) to Kevin's place to check out his latest. He ...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Yeah, I'm with you guys on this. The two of them look just right on point. I can't wait to see Kevin's when he gets a bit taken off the top. The stance on both of those cars is nothing short of perfect.
I can only wish I was that close to finished (if that ever happens on rods). Lately there seems to be some baggin' on the black wheels thing but I just love the way black wheels and all black chassis and suspension components seem to pop out the simplicity and mechanical qualities on traditional rods. And only a touch of chrome goes a long way, too. Thanks for the motivational pics!
Bitch'n hot rods both. With the outstanding work done so far, I'm sure the sedan will do nothing but improve. Thanks for letting us look in.
I love that sedan. Anyone have any links to past sedan pic/build threads? Search comes up with too many unrelated posts.
You know, a set of nerf bars on the front of Ryan's car would have pushed that beauty all the way home! Thanks for sharing. I've got the A bug since the calendar came out last December and WILL have one be it coupe or sedan or BOTH now that I've seen how nice these two would look in my driveway...
Both rods are super bad. The last photo says it all. is there another color for wires other than black?
I dig black wall tires on black wheels but I'm afraid it is becoming the new white wall on red wheels. Wait, maybe thats a good thing!

Did I see both of these cars racing at Bunker Hill Dragway, Kokomo Indiana back in July? If not there were 2 identical cars racing each other on friday night test and tune Friday July 13th. .Only difference was the black one had white wall slicks and the blue one had the top peeled. .
never, not if we dont let it.. Black on black just goes so well with trad hop ups. But then I am biased...
Kevin looks great! Can't wait to see it with the subtle chop. Really like how you have the exhaust run, also. And, of course...dig the black wire wheels. Hey could you snap a close up of your steering setup from the outside of the frame? ...I'm curious how your wishbone/exhaust/steering all interact and clear each other there. It's hard to tell from the pictures that are posted with the TJJ post. Thanks, have fun, keep up the great work... Casey
Sharp lookin car! It will be nice to watch it progress into a finished product. I really dig the coupe too!
