a few pics of my 29 sport coupe,, the parts are coming together as we speak.. i realize that the road ahead of me is covered in metal shavings and rusty boogers.. the plan is to put a "lift off" five window roof on it... i still need to find the roof panels above the doors, not sure the technical name for them,,, all i know is that i need em'. anyway, i will continue to post some pics as the parts pile up, and the checking account crashes.. (if anyone knows which model panels will work, let me know?? and if someone knows where to find these panels, let me know how much??)
its for my ugly *** model a... I guess the A is for at***ude. Hell yeah.............. **** em' and feed em" fish heads. If you don't like it don't look at it. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
actually you have a special coupe a sports coupe didn't have any back sections at all only canvas top material i think the grill shell is ***s tk
the car looks descent not shure on the grill thow it kinda looks like a gaint purfume bottle or a flask, o well put it on the car and piss people off an keep us informed
i was born on the day of non-conformity... if it doesn't challenge someone... it is not worth doing. i guess being fed a steady diet of punk rock through my childhood didn't help too much... thanks bro. anyway,, i will keep the pictures coming, and thanks for the words...
I think the grille shell is cool ... I'm all for different as long as it isn't ugly. What it's off of?
That's a Leatherback coupe, always liked the looks of them. Check the Snyders catalog, I think they repoped those missing over the door roof pieces.
Grill looks better than the one that come on a '73 F~250 ford truck! Looks like a Sport Coupe to me.. The top stuff appears to be a Coupe roof he is making into a removeable hard top.
Cool project.....the panels above the doors are available....Mike's A-fordable parts has 'em I believe....however, the panels themselves aren't too difficult to make yourself. I made my own using 20 ga sheet and a wood bench.....
Ummmm, Are you just a Jack *** or What ? People here say i talk ****, But i think yer tryin a lil to hard to Piss people off. When ya actually have a Hot Rod or Kustom to show off, Why dont you go back to the RED NECK 4X4 site you came from. By the way, Maybe look at my pic and you will see DeSoto's DO RULE !
yeah,, i do believe this hambnbean guy is indeed on the **** stirring path... have ya checked out some of his other posts?? anyway,, i knew their was a reason i bought this wolseley grill... it just may be the catalyst to the apocalypse.. the wrath of god,, arising from the rusting particles of a sport coupe.
thanks,, love that truck you have pictured.. i figured i could hammer some out, wasn't sure though... but now i know, and knowing is half the battle,, the other half involves 20 ga sheet metal and a wood bench.. thanks again.
It is a sport coupe guys, he just put the Coupe side panels(window's) to see if will be possible for us to make a lift off 5 window hard top.Somthing for those chilly KY mornings.....Oh and your welcome for the steady diet of Punk Rock when you were young and imprssionable, glad to see it's positive effect on you.. www.myspace.com/ampline check it out guys...
The grill looks like a late 50's - mid 60's Woosley grill - originally from England. When we were putting the roof on my 5 window Model A, we contemplated having it as a removeable roof, but found it was too much work. It made sense to steel it out as a non-removeable top. good luck with the task, I'd love to see how you got it done.
that grille might look cool upside down too. ...and maybe raked. ...or as it is at least it's in great condition.
