Well I suppose these are never done, but it is done enough for me... finally bolted in the 32 tank and had to take it for a drive... got in such a hurry I some where forgot to put the cap on after filling it... but I am super happy to have it done. I took it out early today for the maiden voyage and I had forgotten just how much fun roadsters are to drive... A few little bugs to work out and it should be set, I am really glad my buddies talked me into the Muncie and SBC combo, I am loving the 3 pedals. Funny how its hard to get perspective until their out of the confines of shop space...
Preacher, The thrill of it all paid off in the open cockpit of a bad ass '29 roadster. A real hot rod and hundreds of miles of asphalt to burn. Good luck Cruiser
Jimmy2bottle, I did pinch it, in a couple of places. . . I like to try to get the reveal as tight at I can along the body line... on this one, if I remember it was in 3 places. I have lately been admiring the stuff the guys at http://www.rollingboneshotrodshop.com/Projects.htm build. Personally I think they build some of the neatest stuff around, I did my best to emulate the stance of the frame they put together. Fathack, Rusk and Royal Shifter Thanks for the props, it means a lot coming from a lifelong hambers like you guys...

"Funny how its hard to get perspective until their out of the confines of shop space... " I know what you mean I've been driving mine for about a month and I'm loving it!! Looks good have fun with it!
looks great! stupid question from a guy that knows nothing about working on frames...what exactly do you mean by pinching the frame?
Rolf, I have looked diligently at your built and been inspired more time than you could possibly know... Gleaning from your every post your coupe was the standard for my dad's coupe It means a lot to hear from you... Up here in the Greeny North there aren't too many hambers so I vicariously live for your posts and updates of an epic build
Lotus, Pinching the frame just means "bending it". You can do this pretty much out of anything metal. You take a small cut (if a bigger pinch a very narrow pie slice out) and then bend the metal so the 2 pieces touch again, and weld them back up. Lot's of times with 32 rails which already have some curve in them if you line them up with the body of the car they won't follow the contour of the body line so they just need some pinching to make it work a little better for the eye.
Here is the requested butt shot... Got in such a hurry at the gas station, I must have left the cap on top of the tank... Which is a huge bummer because those 32 tanks aren't the type of tank caps that you can just get at the supermarket. Thanks to some tech tips from the hamb board that tank slipped right in.
