I was driving country roads yeasterday east of austin and found this place. The owner was leery letting me walk around his yard, but finally let me. Here is what I found and almost everything is for sale. There is even more that I did not get pictures from. http://community.webshots.com/album/560206078qESkMJ
he has had a lot of problems in the past with theft and only lets people he knows on his property. Totally understandable.
This caught my eye. What is that to the lower left? I can't place that fender and grill. Kinda reminds me of a vintage MG or Austin. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2588521120061039871DuPOmY
I think the grille is too wide for MG. My first thought was Austin or Austin Healey. Now I am drooling even more, thanks for pointing it out.
UMMM, If you speak of the fender & grill chunk in the lower left of the pic of the '48ish MoPar.. You boys are WAYYY off base That is the driver corner of a '40 Studebaker ...
look at that chebby more door! skirts and visor lok like they have never been removed...................that one is worth havin
If anyone goes back to check this place out, I sure would like some skirts for my 49 mopar.............looks like he has row of mopars. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2918943560061039871ohIgcu, I,ll fill your box with specialty tools...........(bribe)
Nice pictures...THANKS for sharing them with us. That Hudson Pickup looks like it would be an easy resto. And I'm surprised to see how many ambulances he has. The Crown Imperial needs to run a demolition derby, if it isn't worth restoring.
