    Nick,
I have to say that your blue Vic was my favorite at the show, and the hotel. Do wish I could have talked to you about it. Great ride man.

I agree with cutting back the show to one day. Rode my shovel chop up there on Sunday and had a great time pushing my 11 month old son around his first car show in his stroller. The Freakshow is really cool but the highlight for the kid was seeing Plowboy with the Atomic Punk!

  5. As far as no other activities going on around the IC, unless it's crack and hookers you need to go farther east to find nightlife. I didn't put anything out this year about things that were going on around town (sorry guys) but there was the Nothin' but the Blues Festival and a couple other smaller events. If you go downtown Bloomington (about 2 miles east of the IC) there are about 15 bars with a wide variety of things going on. I don't recall if there was anything big at the Cultural District or US Cellular Coliseum though. Of course since I didn't know I was going to have the night off until the day before it was too much to try to throw together a meet and greet at my place, but if it is back next year I will definately get that squared away earlier.

whoa, nobody mentioned hookers while we were in town...:(

  8. trust me 'flake...you don't want to deal with them unless you want to take something home with you that you can't get rid off.

Bill, you know we all already have wives. ha ha ha

Fuzzface, be lucky you have the beans to look at right now. If the price of corn keeps going up, that is about all you will see then.

i thought the show was damn good, but i have to agree with bigsam63 on the fact that i can look at camaros and chargers at my local car show/ parking lot...the shelter house that had the bands in it was a nice touch, shade and plenty of seating right next to the beer wagon...

it was great seeing everyone again and meeting all kinds of HAMBERs... i am always so overwhelmed that i forget half of their names by the time i get back to the hotel...that and the seating right next to the beer wagon, doesnt help my memory either..it does help you sleep though, especially if your staying on the floor of Country Kitchen:rolleyes: ....

many thanks to Russco and BigSam63's gals and athenamarie for keeping an eye on Breeders offspring...now if we could get someone to watch Breeder

Glenn and Deadbird, thanks! That means alot. Its definately a fun car. Wish I would have go to meet you guys....and alot of others too! Im not good at introducing myself to people anymore.

As for the show, I 100% agree with yngrodder. I think it should stay in the same place or at least close. The more you move the show the harder it is to get to know the area and the more people will be confused. I passed out almost all my flyers I got mailed to me and about 4 people asked me if it was in Pontiac still. I was dissapointed the buildings werent as 'well' filled as they were last year but I understand why and dont blame em. Hopefully the show will bring in more money and be able to bring even more historical cars back. This show has so much potential. I think the one day thing does sound good too. I like 2 or 3 day shows but pushing it back to one day would probably help get the attendance up.

I absolutly loved the show, I was inside with my 54 on Sat, I had to leave for a trip on Sunday, otherwise I would have stayed, I loved the cars, the people and whole vibe, it was like KKOA event, laid back, no bullshit, no egos, just giys hanging out looking at and talking about cars, I highly recomend it whereve it is next year....it was cool I even got to make an award to give a pick to...
