I don't think a T-bird had a 5.5" BC, or 16" dia in the 80's. Are those bias ply tires on there? The rims do have a lip around the edge, which kinda indicates mid 60's on up production. They look like corroded aluminum to me.

A guy I know here in Germany had a very similar set of these. We were all wondering what they were - they looked like Centrelines, even down to the rivets round the edge. As near as I could find out they are actually from a `50s German Moped, or in your case the Swedish equivalent. An IWL perhaps...

The Tbids and Mustangs had 15" w/5x4.5 bc. Did a scooter really come with a 16" wheel??

I don´t remember the exact sizes, but look at the tyres fitted to those wheels. Don´t think they´re for a car.

80's mustangs and thunderbirds also have 4 lug bolt pattern. I have Aluminum space saver spares for drag wheels and they dont look like that, take a pic of the front/back side, i cant tell what side that is in the photo.. the one behind it looks like it has a hump in the center.

These are on the German version of that auction site right now. You can see why I thought Centerlines! The un-rivetted type also. Again, not identical, but I´d bet they´re from some kind of moped.
