Well my wish to own a '56 or '57 Lincoln came true this week, been wanting one for quite some time.
So, I guess all other projects will have to wait again.
Some small ideas as to what I want to do, can't decide on a colour though.
Anyone got any pics of this year model lincoln?
I love Moppes (I think that's his name) from Sweeden.
Can't seem to find many pics besides restored stockers.

That's dead ***y ...congratulations! Are you going to lower it? I actually don't mind the white ... maybe just some tasteful accents added to it?

Thanks, yes, I will be lowering it and getting some wide whites, just need to sort out some electrics first.

Lowering and wide whites are all it needs. Make those changes, then enjoy it.

    I love those cars.

Thanks Haring, It'll stay white for a while as you said I need to enjoy it for a little while before going the whole hog.

Wow, thanks for the input guys.
Leadsleadolds, that is a cool design and I think '56's are simply just as cool.

Talisman, I have seen that youtube before, but enjoyed seeing it again. That sedan sits right on, cool draggin it's ***.

Speaking of draggin***, that photoshop? design is how I imagine it only with wide whites. Thanks.:)

Too cool. Other than lowering it and a few accents and details, there isn't much room for improvement. It was a pretty cool custom when it rolled off the line. If you custom paint it eventually, don't get carried away and do anything to detract from the wonderfully sculptured lines. Definitely a case for less is more. Enjoy that head-turner!

Nice find. Lower it to the ground and runs the pipes under the doors. As far as color, the white is pretty rad, but I would probally paint it like a gold with some flake. Post more pics when you get it lowered and them whites on it.
    Cheers,

I'm thinking fade away style paint maybe a light green to set it off. Just a thought.

Thanks guys, Paint will have to wait, although a fade paint style is in my mind.
Silhouettes57, I like the pale yellow two door 57 you posted.
Junkyard Junky, complete is what you need. Parts are rare and expensive. Good to see other Lincoln guys around.

Never looked at many Lincolns but Damn that is nice. BTW I like the white. You might be able to tempt me with a fade paint job but I think the darker colors make it look to heavy. Nice score...and now I can add another car to my favorites list.
