Heres some pics from this weekends car show in Bloomsburg Pa.

What is the point of this? Looks like a way for people to get injured or killed.

They use Coleman fuel and jets from an oil burner to get flames like that.

 

Most of them have some type of pressurized air with the fuel.

 

Reminds me of sitting home alone with a can of beans and a lighter.

I don't know..Steve Sellers used to get a fireball that big with JUST GASOLINE! He would fill the pipes with an electric fuel pump and when he lit the engine and flamethrowers at the same time...BOOOOOM...OK it was dangerous as hell,but fun to see once (up close!)

that's stupid as hell. next week there will be another post how 5 people got burned up and the car exploded.

I'm not seeing anyone down there next to the car with a cigarette in their mouth lighting it while the driver hits the switch.

........so I'm not really seeing the danger you guys are speaking of.

The crowds seem well enough back away from this, unlike the disaster here in TN when that Pro Mod took out a bunch of kids.

This guy isn't setting those off in the middle of a town parade. It seems like this is done in a well controlled environment.

....although I bet lowflying aircraft are in plenty of danger.

I guess it has to go upward as to not kill anyone, but it looks funny. I dig straight out flame throwers, out of the pipes type deal. I think that looks hokey, especially when you can see all the aparatus that shoots outside the exhaust. Cool shots tho.
