Springfield swapmeet

Are those planning on attending the swap going Friday or Saturday bright and early before the sun sets in like a mutha? It is Fri/Sat/Sun right?

 

We're going on Friday, probably around 7:30 or 8 am. I think it actually runs on Thursday, too.

 

plan on going with the motely crue from the hotel fri morning.

 

how late does it run at night?

We will more than likely head down Sat. mornning, and stick it out til noon or so... will have some room on a trailer if anyone buys something big.

 

Me and the Indy guys will be at the swap meet early Friday morning. Just look for the old guys p***ing a bottle of geritol around...that will be us!!!

 

Actually the only ones that are supposed to be in there on Thursday are vendors, but I've went in on Thursday several times. Not many people and you can get a first chance at things. Course the first day there's not much chance of jewing anybody down on price!

 

Just out of curiosity - does any body plan to head over there early? I know in the other thread the "tentative" idea was to gather around 8am on Friday to head over.

the website says the gates open @ 7am - any advantage to being there early or is it better to let the vendors "uncover" all thier stuff?

 

I hope to be there around 7:00 in the morning o Fri. If things go well for me

 

The earlier the better if you're actually looking for something in particular. I plan on being there at 7:00; its a large area to cover!

 

My space #s are Q 084 & Q 086. Look for my T pickup on the trailer. You're welcome to drop your heavy stuff off for the day, grab a cold drink and sit a spell if you'd like. I'll have my red top canopy up an a few parts ****tered for sale.
