I bought some parts from a collector In Alabama who proceeded to tell me that he is planning to shred his parts car collection as soon as the weather cools enough to work outside. Says he's getting too old and is getting out of the hobby. He has multiple cars from 49 to 56 vintage, all Packards, and a huge stash of parts. He is willing to sell cars for scrap value, $.07 per pound(yep, that's right), and his parts prices are more than reasonable. Please buy some of this stuff!!! SOON!! He also told me he has a 55-56 V-8 stick bellhousing and clutch setup that is up for grabs... Jim Wakefield 205-489-5256 Dan
What kind of "collector" just ups and scraps it all and relys on guys like you to let people know by word of mouth that he's going to do it?
to rustynewyorker..it happens all the time! and maybe hes too old to have the gumption to advertise and really doesnt want to deal with it. It is amazing how fed up old people can get with things..they sometimes just dont give a Sh^t! looks to me like ann open invitation to getting Packie parts cheap..if I owned one or knew some one who did I would go!
Doh! I missed the phone number in the first post. I just looked it up...its in Double Springs AL for any that need to know.
