    Was a late nite working at my shop trying to get a customers race car cage finished , stopped to take a break ...there where a couple of boys outside checkin out my 37` one had a flat bike tire ...I tryed to air up the tire , the tube was shot ....anyway we got to talkin about old cars and the oldest boy said his grampa had some old school rods for sale ....long story short I went out and looked , this is one of the cars he had lying around his shop can any one tell what year and make of 5 window it is :confused:

    animal and I dragged it back to my shop , not in bad shape ..........

    Couldn't tell much by those photos but it isn't Ford or GM(not wood-structured).
    That leaves about 150 + makes which were being produced here in the 1928-31 era, my guess for the period of this body.
    The giveaway will be the body beading and that step-back cowl over the firewall and that unusual round bottom cornered windshield).

    I reckon that is a 29 Dodge coupe with the all metal Budd body. The thing that clinched it for me is the fuel gage as I've got a Dodge fuel tank on my T-Bucket and the gage is identical.
    Someone on here posted pics of one recently, he knew what it was so a search may find the post to confirm it.

    It appears to be a '28 dodge. That body line is too wide to be the '29.

    my buddy has a 28 dodge victory six coupe thats identical to it...

    chad do you have any pics of your buddys car ?
    I started boxing the frame ,and putting a new floor in it ... I am having a hard time between a 392 hemi / 4 speed I have or a complete running gear out of a dodge diplomat cop car ...360 / torqueflite :confused:

    a vision will apear ........ then watch out :eek:
