can someone tell me what id wrong with my brake sysyem.I have a 55 lincoln that was a power brake system,I took the old system off and replaced it with a power booster and newer master cylnder.I also replaced all wheel cylinders.Problem i have is the brake pedal is hard as a rock and does not stop the car.I also have 19lbs of va***e.Any sugestions???????????

I had a similar problem with my 59 buick. I checked everything and had replaced all brake parts. It was the new booster that was bad. Replace it. drove me nuts for a couple of weeks. TP
Bad booster Misadjusted brake rod - booster to m/c M/C too big - wheel cylinders too small combination valve - "tripped" pedal ratio wrong
