    this is something my uncle picked up. it is a 30 31 body but the frame is a 57 chevy with a 58 chevy rear suspension. parts of the body actually pretty solid.

    Well, at least they stopped there, huh? What are your plans. Did they start with a coupe? How badly chopped up is it?

    not my car my uncels. ya i beleave it was a coupe. the doors are no good now. the trunk is good. the floor is from the chevy. ther is round tubing welded in were the top was

  12. looks like a candidate for 409/blower, 34 grill laid way back and a bigger pair of headlights mounted out by the arms. Not quite your everyday ride but at least it isn't a cookie cutter 30/31, 32 either.

    hey i kinda like it, if the windshield was layed back a little it would look awesome. i actually know a guy who built a 30 roadster using tri-5 front suspension and it looked awesome

    Looks to me like they might have been thinking along the 'cartoon car' lines. Those low-slung headlights poking out from between a pair of highly modified front guards, (which would have also covered the front end) the cut out doors and the extreme rake would signal something right out of the box design-wise to me.

    When was it built ? Could have been cool at that time. The builder probably used what he had.
