part nine day nine of my modified.. man I am beat,, longest day yet in the build,, and heaviest.. today I built a K member and boxed the frame front and rear.. I used 2x4x3/16 tube for the K member and 3/16 plate for boxing. it's all tacked nice and square to the world, this frame when done will be able to take any horse power I put in it.. here is a before picture showing the frame rails with front and rear cross members,

Keep going you making great progress, cl***y, practical, and user friendly mods. Usually these "quick" buildups require some "dodgy brothers 'booty' fab", but gotta say I am very impressed. Again, you can rest when ya dead, keep at it, great to see the progress. Cheers, Drewfus

If I'm recalling correctly that's a Studebaker V8 and overdrive 3-speed (BW T-85, I think, forerunner to the T-10).

I am in a mad dash to get this thing going before they call me back!! -truth be known I would rather be building hot rods than,,, well I geuss *** and building hot rods are pretty much about equal there Paul
