part nine day nine of my modified..

man I am beat,, longest day yet in the build,, and heaviest..

today I built a K member and boxed the frame front and rear..

I used 2x4x3/16 tube for the K member and 3/16 plate for boxing.

it's all tacked nice and square to the world, this frame when done will be able to take any horse power I put in it..

here is a before picture showing the frame rails with front and rear cross members,

  12. Keep going you making great progress, cl***y, practical, and user friendly mods.
Usually these "quick" buildups require some "dodgy brothers 'booty' fab", but gotta say I am very impressed.

Again, you can rest when ya dead, keep at it, great to see the progress.

    Cheers,

I wish I had your skills. Everything seems to flow so smoothly through your build up posts.

    If I'm recalling correctly that's a Studebaker V8 and overdrive 3-speed (BW T-85, I think, forerunner to the T-10).
