We took our Volksrod out to give it a new paint job. The unpainted steel really needed some help. Here is a link to 105 photo's. I noticed your volksrod in another photo set someone took, it was you guys cruising with your kids hanging out of the roof waiving... i knew ppl would give you shit for the vw, but fuck them, in this case its about you having a freaking blast with your kids..thats hot rodding. great photos man.
I've no problem with the bug - it's the 53 that irks me. I spent 8 days on the salt in '98, and I took over 450 shots of the vast diversity of shapes & colors. There was an entire 3 ring salt circus of racers and spectators waiting to be frozen on film for eternity. I didn't shoot half of my rolls on one single car! Just look around, that's all!
He didn't just shoot one single car, he shot HIS car and HIS family in the midst of history. Huge difference. Neat pics, neat car. Looks like fun.
