what chevy lifters go in a 324?

from what i understand you can use adjustable pushrods and lifters from chevy. does anybody know the specifics so i dont have to measure and deal with the headache of finding the parts?

 

i know for sure its 56 chevy lifters

 

Chevy lifters can be used but need shorter pushrods

I also heard that you can use Y block connecting rods in a olds rocket is this true also?????

 

not as far as i know,but i've heard Pontiac 400 rods will work.
i used the original forged rods for my 324,but i had ARP bolts installed,the big ends resized,and new small end bushings installed and honed to size.

 

you have to grind down the rods a bit too so ive heard

 

you didn't say if you are looking for Hyd or solid

but for hydraulic:

sorry don't have a manufacture's name on the box but number is 2095

and Elgin PR-105S push rods (or equivalent)
