I am changing jobs which is going to force me to get to Seattle in about three weeks. I have two cars to get out there, I can only take one, so the other has to be shipped and I have to leave Sept 1st with one of them on the back of my truck...

    I have two options
    1. buy a trailer and take the woodie to my parents place in Tracy Ca and ship the 57 to Seattle. Down side is I need to bring some personal stuff with me and the woodie is going to max me out on weight...so I would have to limit what I bring and ship other stuff (like clothes)

    2. tow the 57 on a dolly to seattle and be able to bring things like cloths, basic necessities like TV and computer (can sit on the floor) Hell I do not even know where I am living yet... but that will require the woodie to be shipped, which is a non-driver, to Tracy Ca. and i really would want it shipped enclosed... this option will cost me more but work in other ways..

SO I am asking what enclosed trucking outfits have you used...

I'm from Spokane and have used Hog Haulers based out of Portland Oregon twice. www.hoghaulers.com They have a nice fleet of trucks and are very professional, and lastly the prices are the best I have found for closed transport. Give them a try.

try horseless carriage, they were super good (but expensive) they do exotics and high end cars- im sure pricing depends on whether they have a full load and are going in your direction already. good luck

You might try contracting a whole truckload. a 53 foot trailer can carry 4 cars and all your stuff if you are willing to put in some work you can make some ramps and block them in and prob get it for 1.50 to 1.80 a loaded mile. Just a thought...
