I'm changing over the brake system on my'58 Ford Custom 300 to 4 wheel disc brakes.I went to a local bone yard and got a brake combination valve and fittings off a late model Mustang.Lots of parts were gone so i'm not sure of the exact year.Any way I got home cleaned it up with brake cleaner and made a mounting bracket to bolt on the frame.I took the fittings off the valve that run to the front to make up new line in 3/16 tubing and noticed the flares looked different. After doing some internet surfing i found that it was a metric bubble flare. What I'm going to need is a bubble flare on one end and a regular flare on the other.Has any Hambers ran into this yet? And how wound you handle this?I will check my local NAPA for a metric bubble flareflaring tool. Are bubble flares easy as double flares to make? And one more idea.Inline Tube will make up preflared tubing any lenth, maybe I should order pre flared tubing with the bubble flare and cut off one end and reflare it double flare. Any suggestions.

I have made them by just doing the first step (the little ****on) in a double flare. May or may not work on yours but it did mine..........

just do it like a double flare and just keep the bubble on one side and flare the other end?

    maybe not because its metric?

You can buy a fitting that goes from double flare to a bubble flare.

My parts guy got them for about 3.00 each

Why not just buy a extra length pre-made metric bubble flare tubing, cut off the one end to length and double flare that to match the rest of your brake system?

I hope I never have to use bubble flared tubing again so a good flaring tool is out of my budget.I have decided to call Inline Tube and do as 38CHEVY454 said buy lengths of prebent and use my old fittings and reflare one end. But I have a question,I have always tried to stick with Ford parts on Ford projects but would like to know for the next time what GM donor is good for disc/disc and still uses the regular double flarefittings ?

Why monkey around with it. Go back and get another combination valve that has double flares like the rest of the car will be. It'll be cheaper than buying the tool for the bubble flare. Spare Parts for GM I've used early 80's Cad Seville a friend of mine uses them from an S-10

better yet, just get an adj. proportioning valve and dial it in exactly for your car.
