alright in digging through front bumper considerations for the new dodge i ran across a '56 newyorker bumper. part of me thinks it'll flow well and part of me not so much. i think the center section would go well it's the upturn ends i'm questioning a bit. the bumper is on the other coast and probably not cheap to ship.
anyone got an opinion on this one or any photshoppers want to give it a quick go. don't need a great job just looking for the general idea.

looked around for good head on shots of both below are about the best i found. found several front and to the side shots would those be better?...ken....

There are lots of guys that state their location as Hickory NC that own 57-58 Plymouths. I'll bet they can hook you up in your bumper needs. This forum moves right along, PM me and I'll get you an email to one of those guys.

Your bumper choice should wrap the fenders in my opinion, but good job on the photochop.

doesn't look bad but it does kinda look just stuck on the front....definately needs to go down the sides towards the wheel opening some.

the center section looks just like what i'm after. the kick up ends i'm not real sure on. honestly i don't think they fit on the new yorker exactly right either. i'm sure it could be worked and made look right. maybe sink them in the sides a bit or something. i don't know.

anyone got a direction to lead me on something with a similar center section(i like the lenght/height of the guard) but striahgt wrap ends?

i chose that truck also because a tube grille is one of the grille choices i'm thinking but i really think this truck may do better with a drawer pull/bullet grille. mines a long way from that nice but it is a good SOLID start and shouldn't take long...ken....

Those upturned ends are bolted-on bumper guards.

    Most cars don't have them.
