Thanks Tudor. I managed a 17.90 @ 80 mph with no low gear. The Zephyr gears got corn cobbed a few years ago. Flatty don't seem to need much gear reduction to get moving. I actually won the HAMB fastest flathead award. ...Of course it was the only flathead powered car there. I still proudly display the trophy in my shop anyway. -Mike

That's funny, ha. Then mine are backwards! I figured they were designed to be more level at the headlight attach point, instead of the 20 degree or so angle.
