Anyone know a retailer who sells replacement parts for old Mallory distributors? I have an earlier model dual point that is past the point of sandpaper help - it could really use a new cap, rotor, points...I've been looking but can't find anyone who has them.

Thanks in advance for your help

This may be a stupid response, but did you try Mallory?
None of their stuff has changed much, so they should still have parts.
It seems like they have parts that will replace the older stuff, but the appearacne has changed or something like that.

Sorry if this was a dumb response and you already checked that avenue.

I think I got my last one from PAW (Performance Automotive Warehouse/Wholesale). They have a huge catalog and I think it had a ton of small parts in it for Mallory distributors. Not the kind of "call for you application" kinda **** you get from Summit or places like that.

Yeah, that was the first place I started (Mallory). Not much help at all - maybe I got the wrong guy on the line though..

What model? If its like a YC, Summit carries the points, condencer, and rotor, but I'm not sure about the cap.

First things first....how old is "old"? Give us the complete tag number. Is it old enough to have a two piece waterproof cap?

Yes, it has the 2 piece waterproof cap. The model# starts with ZB. Sorry I can't say the entire tag #, unfortunately it's at home right now...

Thanks for the lead Paul and flyin-t, I sent him some mail.

  13. I don't know if the guy from Vintage Ignition is around at the moment....I've emailed him twice about a month ago and never got a response, so I went another route.
